Usman Zafar

Usman Zafar is an Investor Relations Associate at Pivot Advisory. He brings a diverse expertise spanning investment analysis, financial advisory, and corporate finance, with a strong command of financial modelling and strategic research.

Prior to joining Pivot Advisory, Usman served as Advisor at Creatinc where he led project feasibility studies and advised clients on market entry and operational strategy across the UAE, Qatar & Jordan. His work spanned over mobility and financial services sectors, with a particular focus on translating complex financial data into actionable strategic recommendations.

Previously, Usman held Investment Analyst roles at Incubayt Investments in Dubai and Maple Leaf Capital in Pakistan, an investment firm managing USD 70 million in assets under management. At Incubayt Investments, Usman deepened his private markets expertise, taking responsibility for investment research, financial management of portfolio companies, product pricing, and assisted fund raising for select portfolio companies. At Maple Leaf Capital, his research covered public and private companies across energy, financial services, and consumer sectors, with a consistent focus on macroeconomic analysis and portfolio strategy.

Earlier in his career, Usman spent four years at Avanceon across Pakistan, UAE, Qatar, and Saudi Arabia, where he established regional operations, managed procurement and cash flow for GCC projects worth over USD 37 million, and improved operational efficiencies.

Usman has successfully passed CFA Levels I and II and holds the ACCA qualification. He is also certified in Bloomberg Market Concepts and has advanced proficiency in Bloomberg and PitchBook.
